It all began 30 years ago with a mom who was determined to find a way to give her 2 diabetic children food they love.

In the early years of 1995, we formulated our very first sugar free jel and pudding products for the South African market.  Being diabetic 30 years ago was far more challenging that it is today, and so it became our dream to bring great tasting sweetness back into our homes.  These products soon became a household name as the need for sugar free/diabetic friendly products became more and more in demand. From humble beginnings in our home kitchen, our delicious desserts soon became loved by both sugar and non-sugar eaters, without a compromise in taste.

The first packaging was designed and launched in August 2008 and our first orders were to the Kosher and Halaal markets who were excited at our range of non gelatin desserts. In the beginning of 2009, our Jel and Pudding products were listed at leading retail supermarket and then pharmacy chains in South Africa, surrounding countries and the UK.

The Suki brand is 100 % female owned and part black owned. We are committed to upliftment of the community in our employment strategy. Suki employs staff from surrounding townships and underprivileged areas who desperately need income to feed and educate their families.

The Suki brand has become a household name, and is synonymous with healthy, ”free from” food that is both delicious and guilt free.
